Dr. Anna Hughes
Dr. Anna Hughes
Dr. Anna Hughes’ passion for optometry first began at the age of 14 years after her first eye exam. She has since completed her Bachelors in Science at the University of Oklahoma, Doctorate in Optometry at Nova Southeastern University, and finished an internship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in 2009. Dr. Hughes’ top goal has been to ensure her patients leave her office educated, cared for, and confident in their next treatment steps. Dr. Hughes’ passion extends beyond the advancement of optometry, hoping that her standard of care empowers the next generation of optometrists and their patients. She graduated with professional distinction and was awarded a certificate of achievement for years of academic excellence with four years in Beta Sigma Kappa. Dr. Hughes is highly respected by the medical community, having memberships with the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma American Optometric Association. In her free time, Dr. Hughes strives to contribute to society in a personal way, helping her community by fostering dogs through local rescues and serving on the board of the nonprofit Bethesda, Inc for six years now.

Shelley Wilson
Office Manager
Shelley has worked at Ideal Eye Care since August of 2018. She completed the Office Manager Certification Course through PECAA (Professional Eye Care Assoc. of America) in June of 2020.
Shelley is also a volunteer with Canine Companions for Independence (www.canine.org) helping raise puppies that will some day be service dogs for individuals seeking canine help with their day-to-day tasks.
Shelley has been married to her husband, Steve, for 35 years and they have one son, Graeme. They also have three wonderful dogs of their own, Finn, Fletch and Inake.
In her free time she enjoys thrifting and vintage treasure hunting
Devin Walls
Optician
Devin became a certified optician and ophthalmic technician at a Corinthian College in 2001. She has been working as an optician and technician
in Oklahoma since 2002, and has been at Ideal Eyecare for 8 years.
She has previously completed over 1000hours of experience in a Surgical and Pediatric Ophthalmology clinic and currently holds a paraoptometric technician certification since 2020
She enjoys gardening, collecting plants, and spending time with her husband and two boys and her zoo of animals.
Marissa Pruett
Technician
Marissa is an AOA certified Paraoptometric Technician, and has been working as technician at Ideal Eyecare since 2019. She likes drawing, and playing baseball with her brothers.
